Where do we deliver?

We deliver on the mainland in England, Wales and Scotland.

When do we deliver?

Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. Deliveries take place on a day of YOUR choice. We will call you on your contact number within 1 working day of you placing your order to agree a delivery date

All deliveries will take place between 8am and 5pm. Unfortunately you cannot pick a delivery time slot however, if its help the driver can call you 1 hour prior to arrival on the contact number you provide us with.

How long will I have to wait for delivery?

Standard UK Delivery*

Using our Standard UK Delivery service, your order should be with you within 4 working days (excludes Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays). 

This Standard UK Delivery service is FREE

Express Delivery*

Place your order before 1pm Monday - Friday and receive your order within 3 working days (excludes Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays), for only £40 extra!

 * This applies to our popular sizes in a white finish (see below for other sizes and/or colours), providing they are in stock.  

'Made to Order' (special colour and/or size)  products will take longer to deliver as they are being produced especially for you. This can take between 4-6 weeks, however it could be sooner. We will contact you with an estimated delivery date within 1 working day of you placing your order. Nearer to the estimated date of delivery, we will contact you again to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Will the delivery person place my item(s) upstairs?

The driver will as a minimum place your item(s) within your property, in the hallway or the room nearest to your front door. It is down to the drivers' discretion whether they are willing to place the item(s) anywhere else in the property. We always recommend that if the person taking delivery is elderly or physically unable to lift/move the item(s), they should have someone with them who can assist as the driver may need a hand unloading/delivering the bed.

How big is the Wallbed and Mattress?

We do not believe in self assembly bed frames as they usually allow for too much movement in the frame. For this reason we hand weld our bed frames together and the biggest item will be the bed frame.

This will be about the same length and width as the mattress. For example a 4ft 6in Standard Double 'WISKAWAY'® 'Vertical' Wallbed frame will be about 4ft 6ins WIDTH x 6ft 3ins LENGTH (137cm WIDTH x 190cm LENGTH) when delivered. The DEPTH of all our Wallbeds when packaged up for delivery will be 5ins (13cm).

When you order a Single size wallbed you will receive 1 package, this will consist of your bed frame and attached to that frame will be a floor fixing base pack and a mattress retaining strap.

However if you order a Double size wallbed you will receive 2 packages, this will consist of your bed frame (with 2 mattress retaining straps attached to the bed frame) and a seperate floor fixing base pack.

The mattress WIDTH and LENGTH will depend on what you order, however the DEPTH will be about 8ins (20cm) - unless you order a special size.

What if your bed frame might not manoeuvre up my spiral staircase/tight space?

As mentioned on our product pages please always check the overall dimensions before you order and please do not order your wallbed directly from our website if you are in doubt about dimensions/your space. Please contact us to discuss any queries you may have, as it is your responsibility to ensure that any products you order will fit up your stairs/into your home. If they don't, we will have to charge a fee for collection and repackaging (Terms & Conditions apply). 

If you believe a Double Wallbed will not manoeuvre into the room of choice then we do sell '2 Part Double Beds'.  These beds will come complete with a coupling bolt, so you can join both the 2 beds together on site to operate as one wallbed. 

 

What happens if I miss my delivery?

We always arrange to deliver on a date of your choice and will ring you the day before to remind you. It is essential however that you are in when the driver arrives as he cannot come back on the same day.

If the event of a failed delivery, we will be charged by the carrier and will have to pass this additional cost £50 onto you. Please ensure you give us the best contact number for you, so the driver can call you 1 hour prior to delivery. If you are unable to take delivery on the agreed date, then please contact us at least 2 full working days before your delivery date. If you contact us within 2 working days then we may have to charge for rearranging the delivery. Please note that all delivers must be signed for and drivers cannot leave goods simply in gardens or garages.

What if my product(s) arrive damaged or parts are missing?

In the unlikely event of missing or damaged goods, these must be signed for as such and reported immediately to us otherwise these will not be covered by our insurance.
